Trainers tips on Addington tonight

With a Group 1, two Group 3s, and 2 Listed races, it promises to be a massive night at Addington, so we have asked all the trainers for all the big races about their horses’ chances tonight.

R4 – WOODLANDS SIRES STAKES HARNESS 7000 (MOBILE PACE) (LISTED)

1 Rollyourown – Grant Payne – Horse working well gets a good trip should be in it
2 Phone Tap – Bruce Negus – Very promising filly but too green to win this
3 Mark Dunnett – Bruce Negus – Disappointing  and  couldn’t win
4 Perfect Cut – Bruce Negus – Has a decent engine and could surprise.
5 Duffy Hollow – Paul Kerr – I think he has a good chance of running in 3. He was a victim of having to make his run from 600 out on Monday when the one he was following started to stop. He hit the line nicely .He came through his run very well.
6 Rock Legend – Hayden Cullen – Nice horse first run back only had one trial but happy with his work good each way chance
7 Zarias  – Zachary Butcher –  He’s settled in well at Jeff’s was happy his last hopple run before heading south and just had a quiet hopple on Wednesday which Jeff was pleased with so everything looks to be in place just hope he has handled his big trip and ready to perform well tomorrow night Comes up against couple of nice enough horses who have been racing well. the small field helps. He has gate speed if we need to we will use it. But as long as we get around safe and have a chance and the owner ‘nan’ is happy that’s all we ask for we’re here to enjoy the trip  and if we win well that’s a bonus.
8 Didjaseemyshadow – Terry Chmiel – Needs luck from draw and is only on the way up
9 Corravally Star – Bruce Negus – Is  a winning chance as he is genuine and improving

R5 – FAHEY FENCE HIRE SUMMER TROTTING FFA (MOBILE TROT) (GROUP 3)

1 Overzealous – Margo Nyhan – Getting back into some nice form. Has the draw advantage. First fours again. (Trottech)
2 Zsa Zoe – Ken Ford – Blew hard after Monday’s race could take benefit from that although a big step up in class
3 Midnight Dash – Greg & Nina Hope – Improved off his good fresh up run definitely not out of it with the right run
4 Vacation Hill – Kevin Townley – Came through race well. Step up in class this week will not be easy
5 Muscle Mountain – Greg & Nina Hope – First public appearance since Cup Day FFA but working awesome & we are expecting a big run
6 Splash Cola – Regan Todd – Come through last run really well, if she brings her manners again she should be in it
7 The Dominator – Donna Williamson – Seems well so fingers crossed that he brings his manners again
8 Dark Horse – Nathan Williamson – Seems well since her last start and should be a good each way chance
9 One Apollo – Brent White – SCR

R6 – NZB STANDARDBRED HARNESS MILLION 1 3YO FILLIES (MOBILE PACE) (LISTED)

1 With Grace – Robert Dunn – Great draw for her, couple might be bit smart but getting better with each start
2 Braeview Kelly – Mark Jones – Be improved from last week and drawn to lead and be hard to catch
3 Passion And Power – Robert Dunn -Slightly disappointing since 2yo season, good win last start, probably needs to lift on that, Good draw for her to use
4 Hot Lips Houlihan – Jamie Gameson – really like my filly but going to be out classed by a few here.
5 Seventh Heaven – Regan Todd – Massive step up here and won’t disgrace herself but might find it a bit tough against some of these race winners
6 Styx Sweetie – Jim Curtin – SCR
7 Shards In Manhattan – Cran & Chrissie Dalgety – We have thrown her in the deep end here but being a 150k race we have to have a crack. Has      gate speed so going in with the mindset you have gotta be in it to win it
8 Kowhai Magic – Terry Chmiel – Working good but draw no make place chance.
9 Off N Gone – Robert Dunn – Disappointed with draw but she’s race fit and racing in great form. Hope she gets the luck that she needs.
10 Avana – Hayden Cullen – Two nice trials to get her ready but draw hurts gonna need luck if she gets it good each way chance in a good field.
11 Shanika – Robert Dunn – Second up after a bit of a break. Hit the line really well from the trail last time. Draw is ok as following out  a quick one. 2nd in the 2yo version in October hopefully she can repeat that run.
12 La Rosa – Mark Jones –  Come through last run good and seems very well and sure to be hard to beat

R7 – COCA-COLA SUMMER CUP (MOBILE PACE) (GROUP 3)

1 That Alexander Guy – Regan Todd –  Massive jump up but in career best form. Preferential barrier draw helps so he gets the draw, he wont disgrace himself
2 Pembrook Playboy – Nathan Williamson –  In super form. Hasn’t settled in at Oamaru as well as I would have liked. Still should go a good race
3 Henry Hubert – Robert Dunn – Really good down south after sitting parked for the last lap in really quick sectionals. Small field helps here, hoping for a place
4 Thefixer – Regan Todd – Really pleased with how he is going, he’s on top of his game. The small but select field probably helps – couldn’t be happier with him
5 Self Assured – Hayden Cullen – Mark was pleased with him at trials last week and small field suits class horse and should be hard to catch
6 Classie Brigade – Robert Dunn – Wasn’t 100 percent down south but he’s at full fitness and a forward showing is expected

R9 – THE LEEFIELD STATION NZ BREEDERS STAKES (MOBILE PACE) (GROUP 1)

1 Swell Time – Steve Baucke – Has worked well since last race and went good in last weekends workouts at Wyndham, probably has the best chance from poll and should be able to trail the favourite
2 Miss Auckland – Owen Lawrence –  SCR
3 A Delightful Act – Paul Kerr –  She’s been working really well. She has a nice draw and I’m confident she will go a good race for her owners.
4 Folklore – Jonny Cox – Thrown in the deep end a bit after winning in super fashion last week. Gets handy enough draw but will need some luck in the running.
5 Amazing Dream – Hayden Cullen – Should be fitter for the run two weeks ago 2600 suits nice draw to work with, her work has been right up to the mark
6 Need You Now – Robert Dunn – Really good last start and come through her run great. Working a treat only disappointing thing is she’s drawn outside Amazing Dream but that had to happen sometime
7 Spellbound – Robert Dunn – Touch disappointing last couple but bad draws and getting back didn’t help, bad draw again here and needs luck but hopefully she can sneak into the first fours.
8 Watch Me Now – Kirstin Barclay & Tank Ellis – Working well, draw hurts, but will be positive
9 Change Is Good – Murray Pash – Worked more than satisfactorily since a few days off after last start. In the race has a chance but needs luck. In foal so will probably be her last race
10 Havtime – Barry Purdon & Scott Phelan – Has come through run well and work has been good . Rough draw so will need some  luck from there.
11 Senorita Margarita – SCR
12 I’mallaboutthebase – Steve Baucke – Has worked well since last race and went good in last weekends workouts at Wyndham, will need luck to run a place from her draw I’m picking.
13 Enchantee – Nick Le Lievre – he is fit and healthy her work has been good but will need plenty of luck from the draw just hoping for a truly run race and no bad luck
14 Longview Lady – Ken Barron – Same as last week she’s working good but it is quite tough opposition
15 Plutonium Lady -Mark Jones – Draw takes her out of play
16 Yankee Party – Nathan Williamson – Have only had her 10 days. Didn’t travel up to Chch well last time but seems a lot better this  trip. Draw hurts.
