The Stir Up featuring Boo Boo Billy, Baby Jaycee and Rejuvenate

GRV’s Gerard Guthrie and Trent Langskaill provide their thoughts on some of the star greyhounds racing in Victoria.

Keep an eye on these, they are worth saving in your WatchDog Blackbook!

Gerard  We hope Quilts is enjoying a week of relaxation, Trent, as we highlight the star Victorian chasers racing all around Australia over the next few nights.

Trent  Let’s start in the Sunshine State, Gerard, because trainer David Burnett is hoping to secure more Queensland success this evening.

Gerard  I chatted with David a couple of days ago and he believes that if Boo Boo Billy boxes like he did last week, he’s a chance in the Group 1 Gold Bullion Final.

Trent  The highly decorated Group 1 winner Mepunga Ruby and Group 1 placegetter Korda are the Victorian stayers in the Group 3 Albion Park Gold Cup Final.

Gerard  In-form chasers River Rough and Storm Stroller should provide a great Premier Racing duel in Race 5 at Sandown Park tonight. Good luck to Russian Sub in his 100th start (Race 7).

Trent  I cannot wait for Friday night’s meeting at Ballarat. Rejuvenate and Blue Tungsten highlight a sensational Western Districts Derby Final.

Gerard  Group 1 runner-up Baby Jaycee is the standout chaser in the Western Districts Oaks Final. She is up against promising chasers Pest Management, Xoie Bale and Zara Marnie though.

Trent  Victoria is well represented in Saturday night’s Group 2 Launceston Cup Final. Dewana Gem and Nyah Nyah Flyer are owned by the Dewans and Lanigans respectively.

Gerard  Mark and Lisa Delbridge also have two finalists. Mark is more confident in the chances of Elite Alex compared to Ailee Bale.

Trent  Don’t forget that the box draws for the Temlee, Rookie Rebel and Zoom Top are being staged on Saturday evening for the first night of the Unmissable Australian Cup Carnival at The Meadows.
