Race 1

7 Galleons Future: Nice type back from a spell after a strong trial win last weekend. Should be able to make a strong play in this even looking field.

5 South Park: Just gets out and trots and lands close to the speed every time which in this field looks to be a big bonus. One for the place players.

10 Robo Trouble: Not bad last time out against a smart one. No depth to this line up so certainly holds more cards than most in the field.

3 It’s Summertime: Plenty of money about on debut but the legs were all at sea. Allow a chance to redeem here.

Selections: 7-5-10-3

Race 2

5 Major Watson: Has shown a bit in two race day starts to date and if you’re stepping up in grade, this is the right kind of race to do it.

2 Love The Blues: Should be better for the fresh up run and meets a small field which helps the chances. Talented at best and good chance to show it.

1 Hampton: Keeps producing the solid efforts without quite grabbing the win. Sure to give a good account again here from the inside draw.

3 Tact Eze: Hasn’t had the greatest amounts of luck since winning on debut. Familiar driver and a handy draw suggest that might change here.

Selections: 5-2-1-3

Race 3

5 Flash Party: Excellent return to racing when winning fresh up last month. Best version of her just shows up again and wins for fun.

10 Hot Starff: Expect a sharp turn around in form with a run under the belt. Can settle off the speed and really rush at them late.

6 Dallas Grimes: Excellent effort fresh up and is only going to be better for having had the run. Can make a play for success here today.

1 Bettor’s Highlight: Form lines look pretty good and from today’s handy draw should get handy to the speed and be there when things get serious.

Selections: 5-10-6-1

Race 4

6 Lawrence: Massive in defeat at Addington on Show Day behind a very smart one. More upside than most in this field and looks the one they all have to beat.

8 Ansett Flight: Excellent run when prepared in a fresh state last time out. Wide draw here makes it a little harder, but not a deep field outside of the fave.

3 Bunter’s Dream: Nice type who will take improvement from the fresh up run and holds more keys than most in this line up today.

2 Lite Percussion: No star, but a genuinely honest performer who gives a good account each time he races. Handy draw helps the chances.

Selections: 6-8-3-2

Race 5

6 Folklore: Showed a pair of heels to win last time out from a hopeless position. That bodes well for a race like this. Can settle early and then swoop on them.

10 Kickupyaheels: Backed up the support and talk by getting the job done last time out. Has a future and should be a bit player in this line up.

8 Belle Sara: Showed there’s no flash in the pan kind of stuff with emphatic victory last time out. Clearly humming along and a big player here, even  from the draw.

9 Nikasa: Was excellent winning at Forbury last time out, but this is a world away from that field. Will need to be better, but looks capable of being that.

Selections: 6-10-8-9

Race 6

14 Major Meister: Has been massive in all three career starts to date, but again cops a rubbish draw. Will be hitting the line strong, just needs some luck.

4 Revitalise: Has looked every bit a horse who will go close to winning first up in workouts and trials. Respect the stable any time they line one up.

8 Swell Time: Money has been on in all three starts thus far. Driving tactics might be up for a chance which could turn things around in this line up.

2 Hokuri Platter. Handy draw should make all the difference here. Has the ability and finally gets the chance to put the best foot forward and make a play for success.

Selections: 14-4-8-2

Race 7

4 Kilowatt Kid: Massive run on Show Day at Addington to go down fighting. Will find this easier and should be the one they all have to beat today.

5 Nota Bene Denario: Peak fitness now and needs to stand up and ask to be counted after some strong runs to aid getting fitter. Can be a player.

2 My Georgie Boy: Plenty in store for this one this season and gets a good chance to adopt a jump and run approach here which could make him hard to beat.

1 Parama: Not quite sure ot make of the first up run. Much better than that and will be looking to turn things around pretty quickly here today.

Selections: 4-5-2-1

Race 8

3 Only One Way: Found the front last week at Oamaru and was simply too good. Similar tactics to be adopted here? If so, then hard to catch again.

10 Sekkie Monkey: Nothing wrong with the effort for second last time out. Getting better and better with racing and should be a major player in this line up.

9 Chuchulainn: Has raw talent and although in a fresh state provided the stand start is negated if would be no surprise to see a victory here.

5 Big Iron: Two runs under the belt and should be at peak fitness now so can stand up and show that promise that we all know is there.

Selections: 3-10-9-5

Race 9

4 Black Ops: Is a great each way player every time he lines up. Will get handy to the speed and in an even field like this looks a big chance of success today.

7 Paduka: A bit like the above runner. Just a genuine performer who steps out and gives 100 per cent each week. No star, but doesn’t need to be to win this.

9 Wolf West: Better form than most in this line up but has a tricky draw to work with. Could be great, or it could be bad. Have in, just in case.

1 Fatherdantherodeoman: There’s a bit of ability there and today’s positive swing in the barrier draw department can make a big difference to the chances.

Selections: 4-7-9-1

Race 10

3 Karmer: Positive swing in draws after some horror marbles in good fields recently. Form had been very good too. Can sneak the major prize in this at a nice price.

12 Woman In Charge: Better form than most in this and won’t mind a decent tempo in front of her. Can swoop on them late.

5 The Mighty Cullen: This shapes up for one of those Matty Williamson lead at all cost scenarios in which he’s hard to beat. Have an each way based on that along.

4 Clifton Jessie: In good nick and running big races without a lot of luck. Can make a better play here and no surprise to see a big effort.

Selections: 3-12-5-4

BEST: 6 Lawrence (Race 4)

NEXT: 4 Kilowatt Kid (Race 7)

VALUE: 3 Kramer (Race 10)
