7 Orlando Magic: Took a strong effort to get the better of him two starts back. Repeat of that here is a win.
6 Hawaiian Hula: Looks to have a bit to work with judging by workouts and trials. Respect stable immensely.
5 Tommy Tiddler: Fair effort for sixth fresh up. Likely to do things right and shouldn’t be too far away.
3 Whangamata: Not the worst chance in this based on good manners. No star, but can fill a placing.
9 Motoring Major: No luck in last few starts and needs a bit more today from the draw. Good enough to win though.
3 Miss Fandango: Genuine performer who meets an even looking field for today’s fresh up assignment. Right in it.
1 Shindal: Might not be the worst from the good draw. Will punch out and look to find a nice trip.
4 Vigoroso: Not too bad at Oamaru. Blair Orange jumps off though. Can still be a player.
1 Mr Bohannon: Second to impressive winner Howard Hughes in trial looks even better now. Can win on debut.
10 Gilligans Island: Opened the career with some strong runs at Addington. This is easier. Big chance based on that.
6 Lennox Bromac: Another with good Addington form on the board. Has high speed and chance if able to use it.
5 Cotton Socks: Not bad last time after getting well back. Even enough field so has to be a rough each way hope.
6 Stick Man: Has taken on far stronger fields recently than this and not disgraced either. Should get a win here.
5 Donegal Mary Francis: In great nick and likes this place. Small field is a big assist so won’t be too far away.
7 Duke Of Dundee: Talented enough pacer who should be better for the fresh up run last time. Won’t be too far off.
2 Notaword: Nice type back from a spell and handy recent workout. Good draw to try and make the most of in this.
2 Arden’s Reality: Started the career with real gusto and well suited here from the good draw. Hard to beat again.
4 Bridesdale Robyn: Smart second behind a good one last week. Peak fitness now and ready to get on the board.
6 Spirit Of St Louis: Couldn’t have been much more impressive in the career to date. This is a good test, but up to it.
8 Stun Gun: Under rated pacer who doesn’t really run bad races. Good enough to be a major player here.
9 Only One Way: Big money thrown his way fresh up last time out when no luck. This looks better. Should get back on track.
2 Zoned Scarlett: Big win here two back and not bad at Oamaru on Thursday. Jump and run sort of type who can surprise.
6 Justan’s Sister: Really enjoying the trotting caper and getting better and better with racing. Nicely in here.
10 Davey Mac: Just wants to go flat tack all the time and often costs himself. Best version wins, but risky.
10 Robyns Playboy: Big run in a hot field last week and really in good nick. Can give this field a bit of a shake up with a repeat.
9 Cast No Shadow: Returned to racing with an emphatic victory at Methven. Stronger this time in? We’ll find out today.
4 Bettathanfast: Missed away at HQ last week and can’t afford that here but big chance with a good getaway.
5 Chiller Bay: Speed horse who just needs a few things to go his way. Quick enough to run past them all.
5 Major Watson: Big run on debut behind some smart ones. Should find this a whole lot easier and get the win on the board.
9 Under Wraps: Showed a bit of ability in trial win recently. Can get a big slice, but might need some luck from the draw.
10 Major Meister: Hitting the line strongly in both runs to open the career. A little handier here and it can get even better.
11 Tiger Moth: Frustrating in that there’s quite a motor there, but often own worst enemy. Don’t leave out here.
BEST: 2 Arden’s Reality (Race 5)
NEXT: 5 Major Watson (Race 8)
VALUE: 1 Mr Bohannon (Race 3)
