Race 1
4 Signseeldeliver: Two good runs back from a spell in fields on par if not stronger than this. Gets a good draw and should have plenty to say tonight. A big chance.
7 Hello It’s Me: Did a nice enough job last campaign and the workout and trial form into this looks good. Should be right in the right in a fresh state.
12 Texas Tiger: Back after a brief spell following a strong third at the last appearance. Won’t die wondering here but will need a little luck from the draw.
8 Suidelike Major: Should be better for the fresh up performance but cops another wide draw here. Good enough to figure in the finish but will be need to be.

Race 2
2 Safrakova: Jump and run sort of type who was very good last time out at Auckland – off the front line here, so should adopt the same tactics. Hard to catch.
12 Kimkar Dash: Two good runs out of three appearances since coming back from a spell. Should pick up a win at short notice and live hope tonight.
6 Pretorious: Got it wrong last week at Auckland, but prior runs were all full of merit. In here nicely and just needs to bring the manners.
8 Harry H: Not much luck last time out when in a fresh state, does have a good motor when in the right mood. Should be able to play a part in this assignment.
Selections: 2-12-6-8
Race 3
5 Ocean Beach: That was a dour performance last time out to finish third in a field a little stronger than this. Should be going forward and looking to assert the dominance.
4 Saul Good: First starter from a respected stable with plenty of upside. Trial and workout form looks strong and a big debut is expected.
7 Im A Denny Too: Bit to like about the debut effort for fourth. Should be better for the experience and can produce a positive result tonight.
3 Captain Max: Black booker on debut when luck really didn’t fall his way. This looks like it will work out better and needs to be respected.
Selections: 5-4-7-3
Race 4
5 Splitting Image: Plenty to like about the effort fresh up for third at the start of the month. A repeat performance here has her right in contention.
4 Mount Aspiring: Headed into the debut run with plenty of word around, but got it wrong. Smoke and fire suggests we follow the money again.
3 Chinski: Manners the issue at Auckland when fresh up but a big run after that. Just needs to trot away with them to be a contender.
7 Keystone Cavalier: Copped a bit of a check last time out when looking to get going, big run here before that to finish second. Right in contention.
Selections: 5-4-3-7
Race 5
11 Westar Sam: Potent in these types of races when held for the one go at them. An even field but not overly strong. Can win at a nice price.
1 Spare Change: Always there or thereabouts whenever he races. Good draw tonight so should be a major player in this line up.
10 Red Terror: Good Auckland form in last few starts and must close in on a win at some point soon. Nice opportunity tonight from the second row.
4 Matai Geordie: Lovely debut victory and then not much luck last time out. Right draw to play a bit of a role in tonight’s assignment.

Race 6
8 Young Conqueror: Form line probably doesn’t tell the full story here. In good form and running good races and looks really well suited to tonight’s assignment.
9 Ivana Flybye: Consistent pacer who got it wrong from behind the tape last time out. A big chance here though if the manners come to the party.
10 Baileys Knight: Now in the Steven Reid barn and up from Canterbury. Best form would eat this field up but prefer to see once from new quarters.
2 Hit The Sky: Has been in good form since arriving in a new barn and might be able to give them a bit of cheek off the front tape here with a good beginning.

Race 7
11 Lovely Bundy: Could not have been more impressive in victory last time out. Should take improvement from that run too. Big chance to double up.
4 Aoraki: Capped off a good run of form with an excellent effort to win last time out. In the zone and trotting well so a good chance again.
9 Capelli: Let go a little bit last time and made them hurt with an excellent win. Best form is pretty handy so has to be a chance here tonight.
5 As Free As Air: Got it right last time out and was very good in third. All hinges on manners, but a good chance with them in this line up.

Race 8
7 Jingles Bromac: Has been hinting at a return to winning form in last half a dozen starts and gets the perfect opportunity to make it happen tonight. Right in it.
6 Mr Incredible: Not bad form recently and looks to be closing in on another positive result. This is the right kind of race for it to happen.
3 Turkish Trousers: Bit of merit in all runs since joining the new stable. Not a deep field tonight either so needs to be afforded a strong winning hope.
9 Got A Beauty: Was never far away from the action last campaign. Fresh up tonight and draw to do no extra work, can flash at them late.
