GRV joins Racing.com in groundbreaking partnership

GRV and Victorian Thoroughbred Racing IMB Pty Ltd (VTRIMB) are pleased to announce a groundbreaking new free-to-air partnership that will see the best of Victorian greyhound racing showcased nationally on the “Racing.com” free to air channel (78 & 68) and Foxtel’s channel 529 for the first time.

Over five Saturday nights throughout November and December 2022, the Racing.com channel will broadcast live GRV’s Metropolitan Festival of Racing, including the $1 million Melbourne Cup Final at Sandown Park and the $1.6 million The Phoenix at the Meadows.

The meetings to be broadcast include:

  • Topgun and Topgun Stayers at The Meadows on Saturday night 5 November
  • Shoot Out and Melbourne Cup Preludes at Sandown on Saturday night 12 November
  • Melbourne Cup Heats and Bold Trease Heats at Sandown on Saturday night 19 November
  • Melbourne Cup and Bold Trease Final at Sandown on Saturday night 26 November; and
  • Phoenix at the Meadows on Saturday night 17 December.

GRV Chief Executive Officer (Acting), Stuart Laing said the Racing.com channel provided for the perfect platform to showcase Victoria’s best greyhound racing and the richest greyhound festival in the world.

This partnership provides a fantastic opportunity to showcase the excitement and entertainment of the very best in greyhound racing to the widest possible audience on Australia’s only dedicated free-to-air racing channel, Racing.com.”

“Racing.com viewers will get to see the world’s best greyhounds racing for more than $4.1 million in prize money during this time where we will be broadcasting the best of the best to a national audience.”
