A massive nine-part card is scheduled for Cranbourne Turf Club on Sunday afternoon and Horsebetting.com.au’s Victorian horse racing tipping expert presents his best bets, free quaddie numbers and odds from Australia’s leading online bookmakers. The track is rated a Soft 6, with the rail out 9m the entire circuit for the meeting commencing at 11:30am AEST.

Cranbourne Best Best: Bainbridge

In the opening leg of the quaddie, we are siding with the Liam Howley-trained Bainbridge once more, after the Rebel Raider gelding rewarded us with a narrow win on the Ballarat Synthetic on July 20. The runner up in that race, Taramansour, has since come out and won its next start, suggesting the form out of that race is one to follow. From barrier one, Jamie Mott should have no issue in helping Bainbridge finding the front of the field, where he can once again lead the field up as he did at Ballarat. In the event over 2080m, he looks to get his own way out in front, which could prove the difference as he pushes to make it three wins from four starts this campaign.

Next Best at Cranbourne: Easy Single

One of our best bets on the Cranbourne program comes up when the Ciaron Maher and David Eustace-trained Easy Single steps out over 1000m, following a second-placed finish at Mildura on July 24. At that first up run the four-year-old son of Not a Single Doubt managed to lead for most of the race before finding one better in the concluding stages. With plenty of early speed expected in the race, we anticipate that Ben Allen will hunt for a bit of luck early on from barrier 10 and look for a spot in the one-one position. If he can bring that effort from Mildura to Cranbourne it is hard to see how he gets beaten on his way to a deserved maiden victory.

Next BestRace 2 – Easy Single (#1) $3.10 with Sportsbet

Cranbourne Value Bet: Wyld Savanna

Despite being beaten by five lengths when finish sixth at Sandown on August 1, the John Sadler-trained Wyld Savanna presents great value in the third leg of the quaddie. The four-year-old Starspangledbanner mare chased home He’s The Real Deel, who has since come out and won again during the week and is a horse on the way up. Prior to that Sandown run, she smashed her rivals by 3.5 lengths on the Pakenham Synthetic suggesting she had finally turned the corner. Michael Dee will have her settled midfield with cover and if she can get a cart into the race, there’s no reason why she cannot take this out at a nice price.

Best ValueRace 8 – Wyld Savanna (#11) $9.50 with Sportsbet
