Traralgon greyhound track update

Completion of the new Traralgon greyhound racetrack has had to be re-scheduled because of infrastructure supply delays. While major construction components of the $6 million track have been completed, including the track surface, manufacturing delays have disrupted the installation of the drop on starting boxes. GRV has moved the scheduled track reopening to January 2022 to allow a timely installation and trialing of the boxes and to ensure adequate preparation for the first race. Danny (Daniel) Waugh, a Sale Greyhound Racing Club committee member for 16 years, has passed away. Waugh, 49, lost a brave eight-year battle with an inoperable brain tumour on November 5.
